Back Again!

Hey all! How's everybody been? Well, we had a GREAT Christmas, the comic continues to move forward, I've kept writing, been interviewed a bit, my spelling is still terrible as ever [spellcheck works more than it goofs up with me, I'm happy to say!], I was able to mix business and pleasure when I took a trip to Vancouver B.C. to see family and hit up potential investors in Emerald Productions & Ideas [EPI], and I'm a PhD Candidate at the University of Texas again! Yep, after that staph infection decided to dance the Cha-Cha on my internal organs over the summer, I hadda take a semester off to recoup. My insides haven't knit back together all the way yet, but I am mending, slowly.

The campaign to fund EXTRAordinary Heroes continues! For those just joining us: This past summer, I fulfilled a dream I'd had since I was a teen of starting my own comic book company [hey, hadda do something when I was stuck in that hospital bed...]. Now, Emerald Productions & Ideas is an official LLC with the state of Texas! :) [Hey, some guys at my age buy motorcycles, some guys jump outta airplanes...I start a business. Whoo hoo!]

...so, I started a fundraiser to pay expenses for our 1st comic, 'EXTRAordinary Heroes', this summer. It's uphill, but we're getting there! We just had another $100 worth of donations last week, and we're still moving forward! What's it about? Imagine what happens when a regular guy stumbles into the life of the A-List superheroes in his world, and he finds out that he's every bit the hero they are in ways no one expected?
