Hey, all! So glad you're now getting my posts! Whoo hoo! I'm working hard at a few things right now: 1) My Books. Of all my creative endeavors, I'm most proud of the Young Chesterton Chronicles, and The King's Gambit. I'm hoping & scoping for the VERY long shot of turning the first volume into a movie! Whoo hoo! St. Claire, patron of the Media, pray for me! [can't have too much help, eh?] 2) My comic book company. :) ...everyone has an ambition in life, something they wish they'd done when they were younger. I'm in my 50s, and I'm told guys my age do one of four things: a) Get a motorcycle b) Get a girlfriend c) Go skydiving
d) [insert long-undone ambition here]
...well, my brother who works in the medical field talked me out of a) a while back [Him: "We have names for guys who get motorcycles in their 50s!"
Me: "Mid-life crisis victims?"
Him: "No! Organ Donors!"
...and I'm not going the b) route. Moral questions aside [and those are enough for me, thank you]...my wife is a Texas wife, now. Not Portland. Portland wives will excuse a lot of things so long as don't do something REALLY evil by Portland standards, like vote for Trump. Texas wives, though?
CHEATIN' HUSBAND: "Uhhhh....well, I was just trying to figure out who I was!"
ANGRY WIFE: "Ah, KNOW who you are! [cocks shotgun] TARGET PRACTICE! Hold still!"
CH: "WAH! " [runs, dodges shotgun blast]
c) I'm not doing unless I have a LOT more life insurance, either from the Knights of Columbus or Primarica.
d) I'm starting the business I always wanted to start:

...when I was 16, my two buddies, Sean [now better known as Zeranyzerak] and Brad and I were all on fire to make our own comics. There wasn't a 'woke' problem then, were comic makers were more interested in scoring political points and preaching to the choirs of screechy, blue-haired, overweight harridans who never bought comics anyway.
Just fun stories.
So, that's what I did last year. :) I formed and registered Emerald Productions & Ideas [LLC]. I'd say anyone could enjoy my work, regardless of who you voted for. And if they don't, I won't blame the fans. I'll blame me. While I'm spending my customers' money on making more comics.:)
